Links:
This page is minimalist because the first link is really all you need to go anywhere you want to go:

Aside from Cyndi's List, I am including a few other links I like:
  • Forensic Genealogy by Colleen Fitzpatrick.  When it comes to figuring out how to hunt down all the clues you have with the tools available, this is the site for you.  This is a great resource page and Colleen's book makes a handy desk reference.
  • World Families Network  DNA testing is the newest, hottest tool available for those interested in documenting when and where they came from.
  • The USGenWeb Project.  A blurb from their 'about' page: "...Internet websites for genealogical research in every county and every state of the United States. The Project is non-commercial and fully committed to free access for everyone."
  • For those in the UK, the Public Record's Office National Archives offers an impressive amount of information from historical records, to national documentation to genealogical family histories.
